Glass Sculptures by Marta Klonowska

Artist Marta Klonowska has done something spectacular. She designed animal sculptures and the sculptures often are connected with Historical paintings. They are sort of extensions of three dimensional surfaces. She often targets the secondary characters in paintings. For example when there is a portrait of an owner with a dog, she targets the dog or simply wild animals of the background scene. When you look from a distance, each animal looks realistic and soft. The viewers will soon realize that the fuzzy animals are nothing more than creations of glass which is rigid. She simply attaches the glass pieces with metal to give the sculpture some shape. Finally, she puts the sculpture in line with the paintings. and takes the viewers into a new universe with her creations.  Here are some great examples of her work…
